Phnom Penh, August 10 — Techo Hun Sen, the President of the Cambodian Senate and former Prime Minister, posted a personal update on his social media today, sharing details about his health, daily routine, and ongoing commitments while at the border area.
In his post, Techo Hun Sen revealed that he has adjusted his diet and beverage choices based on his doctor’s recommendations. "I am consuming Starbucks (0%) instead of 100%, 70%, 50%, or 30%, according to my doctor’s advice," he wrote. The former leader shared that he has been drinking two cups of this recommended coffee daily—one in the morning and one in the evening—both without sugar.
He also mentioned engaging in leisure activities, sharing that he took the opportunity to play golf with competitors, including those with dental issues but skilled in the sport. Despite sitting for long hours, which has made his waist a bit stiff, Techo Hun Sen stated he remains able to play golf well, including using a driver, wood, and irons.
Despite his relaxed activities, he emphasized that he is actively involved in work, especially concerning border security and military affairs. "Even while at the golf table, I can attend to work immediately if there is an emergency, particularly for border defense," he affirmed.
Techo Hun Sen concluded his post by wishing everyone a good weekend, urging caution and vigilance in all activities.
This personal update highlights his commitment to maintaining health and readiness while actively overseeing national security and border issues.
